It was a Halloween kind of morning at the nest. M15 arrived with grasses at 7:45am and F23 arrived with grasses not long after. Then M15 went on a quest for big "broom"sticks for the nest. He did not disappoint and added 6 sticks, one of which he placed at the veranda branch area. We have seen M do this for a couple of seasons now as if he is making a stairway for his future offspring to climb up to the veranda branch to perch. 😂
F23 reminded me of Batwoman as she flew at a branch and hung upside down for 12 seconds before releasing her talons and righting herself to go in search of a more snappable branch. Both worked in the nest placing and rearranging sticks with frequent discussions over where the sticks should go.
