E23 is 23 days old today and is easily seen now from the ground while I record. Mind you, at this age eaglets sleep a lot as they use so much energy growing in the first 30 days-the growth phase. But we were lucky to see E23 hock walking around the nest when close to the rails, 'helping the adults move new nest grasses, beginning to flap their wings and an eaglet's favorite part - being fed. F23 and M15 were in & out of the nest adding sticks and grasses, 'cleaning' the nest when they removed smaller nestovers to eat in the snags, delivering a fish and tending to E23's needs. You will see a short clip at the end of the video of Mama GHO caring for at least one owlet, and perhaps more in the west pasture nest.
