37 day old E23 is easily seen from the ground now, standing briefly behind the crib rails & looking at his/her world. E23 also lifts and flaps their wings (wingercising) gaining strength in their legs and wings. F23 and M15 perched in the nest tree before flying across the road this morning. A bit later they were seen chasing an intruder (turkey vulture) away from their territory. F23 added a stick that E23 watched her place. I was amazed to see how big the 2 owlets in N2 are getting too. A Crested Caracara also flew through the pasture. It was a windy & chilly morning but I was warmed seeing our eagle family together.
Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com
