Barnes and Barnes were a novelty group formed by Bill Mumy and Robert Haimer in 1970. They're probably most known for their 1978 song "Fish Heads", which became a staple on the Dr. Demento Show upon release. This recording is a live performance of the song "Gotta Get a Fake ID" from their first album "Voobaha". The song and live recording feature Art and Artie (Bill and Robert) on vocals for the first verse, Sulu (another Dr. Demento recording artist) on the second verse, and Dr. Demento on the last verse. As confirmed by Bermuda Schwartz, Al's drummer, Al was also present during the broadcast, and can be heard briefly in the background singing and providing extra sound effects at some points, like at 0:56.
