Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!

My name is Lia, author of the book “Transform your life: 10 steps to release what doesn’t serve you and build the life you truly want”. In this channel we talk about how to heal to live a more conscious life and in this video I want to talk about what happened when I started meditating regularly, so if your interested, keep on watching.

My meditation journey started around five to six years ago when I was in the midst of my depression and social anxiety. I read all the books I could on the topics and meditation was always the recommended solution to quiet the mind and let go of negative thoughts of the past, which cause depression and negative future outcomes, which is anxiety.

So I decided to meditate and see what meditation could do for me but I didn’t do it regularly, only sporadically. However, after seeing the wonderful effects that meditation had on me, I decided to do it everyday, or almost everyday for a year and this is what happened.
