Day number one of my Pennsylvania road trip found me in Scanton, where I was treated to some bucket list operations. I had been wanting to railfan Delaware Lackawanna for years, and was treated to a plethora of the DL’s eclectic ALCO roster including the only surviving C636, Lehigh Valley 414, and more. I even got to witness some exceptionally rare Steamtown switching operations, with none other than the NKP 514 providing the muscle.
