Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!

My name is Lia, author of the book “Transform your life: 10 steps to release what doesn’t serve you and build the life you truly want”. In this channel we talk about how to heal to live a more conscious life and in this video I want to talk about forgiveness and the 4 stages that I have recognized.

Forgiveness means many different things to different people but it is in essence the release of feelings of resentment and anger towards a person or situation. It is the conscious decision to let go of something negative that happened to you and release the associated feelings of bitterness and resentment.

But why is it so hard to forgive? Well, by staying resentful or angry about something that happened to us and crossed our boundaries, we might feel that we are protecting ourselves so we are not hurt again. However, it doesn’t work that way.

When we hold on to the negative feelings of bitterness and resentment, we are just damaging ourselves, our minds and emotional bodies. We carry these negative emotions, which cause us to have negative thoughts and it is like a heavy burden on our shoulders.

When we forgive, we release the energetic imprint from our bodies and minds, releasing the baggage and leaving the past behind.
