Hello everyone and welcome to my channel!

My name is Lia, author of the book โ€œTransform your life: 10 steps to release what doesnโ€™t serve you and build the life you truly wantโ€. In this channel we talk about how to heal to live a more conscious life and in this video I want to talk about limiting beliefs, how to identify them and how to get rid of them.

But what are limiting beliefs? Limiting beliefs are points of view we have about ourselves and the world that is restrictive in some way or another. For example, it stops you from doing certain things or from becoming a certain person. In essence, they are an internal narrative that hold us back.

We all have negative and limiting beliefs that we have created through experience or we have obtained from somebody else. Although you might not be aware of it, there are thousands of thoughts running through our head during the day like a record playing in the background and sometimes this narrative is not positive at all but judgemental towards ourselves and others. what would you feel if a person critizised you all day long? You would probably have low self-esteem and little self-confidence. Well that is what we do all the time in our heads towards ourselves, that is why it is so important to identify all this negative narrative and change it, so our lives can improve as well.

I hope you like the video!

Love,
Lia
